Since their conception in 1988 Comic Relief: Red Nose Day has helped to support over 100 million people across the globe. Raising over £1.3 billion to date red nose day is a well-established event across the world. Tackling important issues such as homelessness, hunger, domestic abuse and the mental health stigma the comic relief charity endeavours to offer support to all communities.
Southgate, as a company and as individuals, recognise the tremendous amount of work undertaken by voluntary organisations to make society a safer, healthier place. With the constraints of the past year and the impact Covid-19 has had on a global scale we believe it is more important than ever to support charities such as comic relief.
At Southgate we (virtually) joined together to wear red and raise money and awareness for this incREDible cause.
All cringe-worthy puns aside, we are delighted to announce that we have raised £854 for comic relief.
